Every individual encounters various stages in life that present opportunities for change and growth. Most people have suffered a form of loss in their lives, from death of a loved one to job loss and other major life transitions. During these times, having an experienced caring professional to actively listen and provide support can be vital to our capacity for healing and restoration. Consistent support during this time can assist us in coping with the situation and learning how to live in acceptance. Therapy is useful in providing tools we can implement on a daily basis in order to assimilate the new changes that are occurring.
My approach to counseling is warm and collaborative. I believe that every person has the ability to live in acceptance, grow in personal insight and learn new coping mechanisms. I will provide many different counseling techniques that are tailored to every individual and their unique situation.
